What is the benefit of Corten?

Corten is a durable material that is also maintenance-free. Alternating, the surface of these store signs changes from plain steel color to over time achieve a thin protective reddish-brown rust layer. It is the copper color that makes your Corten sign / laser cut metal signs stand out.

The protective patina prevents the steel from corroding on your entrance signs. You don’t need to paint it and it does not damage the strength of these parking signs / store signs. The steel’s thickness of 3 mm gives weight and creates stable laser cut metal signs.

Do you deliver our metal signs with a nice rusty finish?

As we together create completely new metal signs, they come in standard steel color. If you want to speed up the rusting process of these parking signs, you can mix a little ordinary table salt with water (about 2-4 tablespoons / liter of water). Spray on the mixture using a regular flower sprayer. Leave overnight and then wash off with clean water a few times to remove the salt residue. The more times you soak these laser cut metal signs and let them dry, the faster you get a nice rusted surface on your store signs. This only takes a few days to achieve.
