Shipping

Most of our goods are heavy and often require that they are loaded on pallets and delivered directly to the customer’s home. The cost of such packaging and shipping is costly and it can be good to know that it is not something we make money on. If you want, it is possible to pick up some of the goods free of charge at our warehouse, Sunnebovägen 8, 132 46 Saltsjö-Boo, Sweden. For all goods that weigh 20 kg or more and / or have a dimension of 120 * 50 * 50 cm or larger, home delivery applies. Below these values, it will be sent to the nearest Service Point if we are referring to Sweden. Clarifying example: According to DHL’s rules, home delivery applies to for example a barbecue grill that has a dimension of 52 * 52 cm and is only 5 mm thick. This is because the dimension exceeds 50 cm according to their dimensions 120 * 50 * 50 cm. In this case, the weight is also recalculated and a grid weighing 7 kg is instead given a weight of 44 kg according to DHL’s internal methodology for bulky packages as the dimension exceeds 50 cm in two directions and thus does not fit within 120 * 50 * 50 cm (considered bulky). Shipping cost depends on the specific transport destination and size. As a result, shipping costs may vary. For heavy packaging that is sent home / to the office, it is important that someone is available to receive the package, otherwise shipping company will charge an extra fee of SEK 325, which you will be invoiced. Therefore, it is important that someone is on site upon delivery. There are special conditions for shipping to an island. If you want to order delivery to an island, the shipping cost will increase somewhat. The system at checkout can not calculate the actual price of delivery to islands. Therefore, contact us before you make the purchase to get a price on what the shipping costs. Goods are transported from Sweden. Orders to countries outside the EU may be subject to VAT, import duties and / or taxes levied when your package reaches your country. the Cortenfactory is not responsible for VAT, duties and / or taxes on orders to countries outside the EU, and we can not predict what special fees may be added. If you incur such additional costs, they must be paid for your package to be declared customs. Please contact your local customs office for more information.

Transport

If the product is damaged or lost during transport, the Cortenfactory is responsible for payment according to our terms of purchase. How to handle damaged packaging or be on delivery? Do not pick up or accept delivery of a damaged package if you immediately discover damage upon delivery. You must then immediately report this to Shiplink on +46 10-20 706 66 and make a claim. If, after all, you accept the package, the damage must be noted on the shipping documents. How to deal with damaged goods if they are only discovered when the package is opened? If you do not discover the damage until you have opened the package, and the damage is of such a nature that it can be attributed to the transport company’s handling, you must contact Shiplink on +46 10-20 706 66 and report a damage. If there is rather a fault on the product that cannot be attributed to transport, you must notify our shop via webshop@cortenfabriken.se within 5 working days. Remember that the buyer is responsible if the product is damaged or lost when the buyer returns the product. In these cases, the buyer is responsible for payment, so be sure to pack the goods properly to avoid damage during transport.

Purchase terms regarding delivery time

We send all our packages with the shipping company Shiplink. Your order is delivered either to the nearest Shiplink representative and announced on the mobile number stated on the order, or in the case of heavier packages, shipping company will contact you to determine the day and approximate time for your home delivery. Someone needs to be on site to acknowledge delivery. Delivery usually takes 2-5 working days. If you have chosen the delivery option Company, please note that shipping company does not notify before delivery, so it is important that there is someone on site to receive the goods (office hours). If no one is present at the delivery attempt, shipping company will charge an extra fee, which we will invoice you afterwards. If an item should run out of stock or if it is an order item, the delivery time can be up to 3 months. If the item is in stock, it will normally be sent within 2 days. The Cortenfactory reserves the right to final sale of products and any price errors and does not reimburse any costs that may arise due to delayed deliveries or the like.

Purchase terms regarding unredeemed goods

Please note that if a package is not picked up on time, and thus returned to the Cortenfactory, an administrative fee of SEK 200 and a full fee for return shipping will be paid according to our purchase terms. This is deducted from the refund for your goods.

Purchase terms regarding right of withdrawalt

According to the Distance Contracts Act, consumers have the right to cancel their purchase without having to state the reason and this follows our terms of purchase. This is provided that the product and its carton are sent back to us in unchanged and undamaged condition within 14 days of receiving the goods. If you regret your purchase and return whole and unpacked goods, we will refund the amount you have paid. Returned goods must be unused and in unopened original packaging. The shipping cost is borne by the buyer. Return address: Cortenfactory, Sunnebovägen 8, 132 46 Saltsjö-Boo, Sweden Phone: +46 (0)70-551 99 94
