Create a beautiful rust patina on your restroom sign

Restroom signs in Corten steel do not rust naturally indoors, but you can easily create the beautiful, vibrant rust surface yourself – using items you already have at home.

Here’s how:

1. Mix in a spray bottle:

   • 100 ml white vinegar

   • 0,5 dl water

   • 1 teaspoon salt
     Shake until the salt has dissolved.

2. Spray a thin layer onto each restroom sign.

3. Let it dry. Repeat once per day until the desired rust tone is achieved.
   The patina becomes unique for each sign and gives the room a warm character.
